some new ideas!

playing around with some nail tips and new colors....  always fun-

thanks to Karen E.,  Karen S.,  Stacey, Diane, Celeste, Donna and a few others for your faith in my talent.
Sometimes I burn out- and then I talk to you and I am energized again.

Teal-ing the nite away...

Nothing like  a great new color stripper to spark some fun in nail art-   So here is some bright green color club and teal , black and white stripping and a bit of OPI glitter to spark some good conversation.
Thanks Diane!

pretty in bright pink

Orly Purple Crush- is the base for this lovely pretty in pink manicure-   it was great having the gang together again.  Welcome back Celeste!

maid in waiting

I used a Amoresse color in a pale metallic lavendar-  even though its pretty- it still needed something.  So I played with my 2012 collection of crackle paints and these are the result...

its just enough color...  and really stands out.

Funky Zebra!

The original idea came from another tech- so Thank you for your inspiration.  I put my own spin on the idea and these are the results.    They are awesome- partly due to the hands and the lady who supports my artistry.
Thanks Stacey!

We used the Orly  "white out" and the Cima "heels over head red" to create the base on the diagonal. Black stripping for zebra effect and tic tac 'silver foil'  to add some kick. Each nail is topped with a rhinestone and slightly larger ones applied to the red nails.   Totally awesome for this lady.

Flirting with 40

These are just too much fun-  for a special lady in her 40's-   These are flirty and eye catching.

Orly White and Green polish with Zebra strips in black and dotting.

Lizard Lizard...

wasn't that a line from a commercial from the 90's-  I think it was-  oh well- here are some fun over 40 and fabulous- nail art for the lady with flair.     A great 'borrowed' idea- we had to try.

thank you Stacey.

Retro 60's

I was looking at this Orly Pink polish and thinking about what I could do with it...  it reminds me of the patterns that we wore back then....   Using black, pink, silver and blue tic tac strippers.    Side note: these strippers are really an addition to anyone that does nails or simply dabbles.   If you are interested- let me know and I will get some for you......

Snow Globe

I love to look at snow globes- they seem to have captured your hopes and dreams inside- with all the glittery haze- that just captures your attention.   These remind me of that.   Thank you Diane for your ideas...

Orly white pearl base and OPI glittery top coat that sparkles in rainbow effect.

Here comes summer ...

I am trying all different shades that I normally wouldnt select.  This is 2 distinct shades of Red Tic Tac color on the diagonal.  Then using 2012 crackle paint to accent the angles in orange, dark red , silver and bronze.  Topped with some stripping in electric blue and white under black dotting.   Wow.

Alpine!

Her favorite color is blue- so we mixed 2 distinct shades of blue to make this alternative french style- using Sally Hansen.  Added some white, teal, silver and blue stripping and here is the result- they remind me of mountains and snow- so I am calling them Alpine.
Thanks Donna!

Casino Nails

I love Orly black nail polish- it goes on smooth and self levels with 2 coats and is very shiny without top coat.  Partnered with OPI glitter and Color Club strippers.   These are knock outs!  Thanks Diane!  these are awesome.

Playing with new colors!

Nothing like playing with new nail stuff to see what fun creative designs you can come up with-  I am partial to abstract-  it allows you to mix and match colors you would never think of putting together and then seeing how well they play together in the sand box.   So here are some new tips for fun.
