Summer Madness- Blue Zebra

Karen wanted me to do a teal version of some zebra patterned nails-  so here they are- and Very fun for the summer-  thanks for the idea Karen!  We could sure use the WARM thoughts right now!

Sassy Chic!

Nancy is very conservative and really prefers light colors... but I think we have hooked her on some rich reds and some fancy nail art.
So here she is Sassy Chic with Special Effects Red by Forsythe cosmetics- the private label brand.  We used some bronze for side spark and Black and Silver strippers to make the 2 colors blend and stand out.  Classy!

thanks Nancy!

Thats what she said,  when we sat down to do a fill in and create some new art work on her nails.    So here they are-  definitely 'Nothing like Christmas'  in a standout blue shade of China Glaze as the base and 4 other shades incorporated with some stylish nail art designs.   Thanks Stacey!

Burning Leaves

these are so cool-  but I am inspired by the muse- or each lady brings her own aura to the manicure table and i just use that to create my designs.   Thanks Stacey!

Plumb Crazy!

That's me- I seem to be having a strange craving for purple items.   I am buying more clothing, shoes and purses in purple lately.   Maybe its because its a royal color?  Maybe because it was my mothers favorite?  I am hoping she is trying to tell me something through color....  but here is my latest crave.... Plumb Crazy!

I hope you are proud of me -mom!  I know you always wanted to be a cosmetologist.  This tribute is to you on this 20th year.

Shopping with a twist

Karen found a fun  shopping bag at TJ Maxx- and that inspired todays creation.   Hope you enjoy them!

These are her favorite colors-  Orly in black and teal and China Glaze in a deep fuschia color. Spiced up with black, white and silver glitter nail striping.   Talk about bling in the sunshine-  its almost better than diamonds!

My nails!

I normally do not get to fancy with my own nails- but something struck a cord with these new Tic Tac colors-
so I got really creative and had fun -  to me it seems a bit on the blue side- which I normally would not do- but I think its fun for now and lets see what kind of compliments I get...  or  not?
What do you think?
This is Tic Tac  fuchsia and purple  and Orly navy blue.  with white, black and glitter stripping.

Background picture

This is a picture of my BFF's nails thus entitled Fireworks-
She loves to create ideas for nail art based upon the holidays or events that she will attend in her life. I am tasked with pulling those ideas from her creative mind and putting them on her nails.  LOL!   We find that we do argue about some colors and glitter- but underneath all that-  We compromise to complete the Bling appeal she is looking for and the perfection of the technique I desire.
